Default track vs apex pants

I need to buy a set of leather pants for track days. Since I have an Alpinestar jacket, I have been looking at there pants that will zip to it. Seems the choices are either

Track Pants 379.00
Apex Pants 299.00

besides $80.00 can someone tell me the difference in these two. Since I will only use the pants on the track i am leaning towards the APEX. But with the group buy might make sense to get the Track Pants don't know. Any advice would be helpfull

thanks

Dan

There are a couple differences between the two. First of all the track pants have an expansion panel in the calf where the apex do not.
The track pants also have a little bit of perforation in the thigh where the apex have a solid panel.
The track pants are more race cut with more curve to them, where the apex are more sport cut with less curve. both have a 360 degree zipper with gp knee and shin protection and sport knee pucks.
